NON-CANON/SIDE CANON

There are plenty of things created by the Magneno Universe makers that aren’t canon to the main universe or are kind of a side-canon in their own version of events inspired by the Magneno Universe. Some of these works include side-stories that were candidates for the Magneno Universe but just didn’t quite fit in the timeline, or alternate-media story interpretations that are inspired by the Magneno Universe main canon.

NOTE: The YouTube content on this list takes place in it’s own side canon inspired by the main Magneno Universe Canon of the books. It’s all roughly based on the actual idea but done mainly for fun. 

(There are like 5 of us to play every character, so don’t take it too seriously because they’re not always the same person. For context, usually there will be a specific style for each and the other characters will refer to each other as such.)

ADVENTURES IN THE HILLS

This is the original version of Reverie of Wrath. The version that originally started in June of 2011 and ran until May of 2018. This version of the story is much more basic and messy as we made it up as we went for most of it. We did eventually begin writing up a storyline and basic plot points later on, but a lot of it was retconned for the book version. The plot is very hard to follow due to how young we were when we made it.

CLONES OF YOUTRAFT (COY)

Formally Cancer of Youtube, this series started off as a collection of random clips but eventually evolved to include some sort of plot. The series started in August of 2017 and is still currently being made? Season 3 concluded in December of 2021, and was the latest season created. Season 3.5 is technically in progress.

COGNITION REBUILD

A series that is sort of a sequel to COY, but plot-wise has very little to do with it. Follows a group of clones who escaped to a new country to start over. Started in January of 2022 and was eventually abandoned and changed into a different story of the same name, inspired by the original. 

KICKED TO THE CURB

The series that follows Jimmy Shimmy and his life after he was “kicked to the curb.” Started in June of 2018 and had episodes every few months until it ended in October of 2019. Originally started off as a one off video featuring a character from an old series called Jimmy Shimmy that was made in 2016, but evolved to have a plot.

JUDGEMENT DAY

A three part series that explores the origin of Jimmy Shimmy. Originally was completely unrelated when the first video came out, but after the creation of Kicked to the Curb, we connected the two series. The first Judgement Day came out in January of 2019, and the third installment came out in July of 2020. Fun Fact: Judgement Day 3 was filmed again from scratch as the original filming of the video was interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus it was one of the first series we continued after the pandemic.

NULL’S MASQUES SERIES

This is a series of short films that all focus on the Mirror Monster. It includes the four Mirror Monster short films, Eggplant & Asbestos, WRENCH, Schizophrenic, The Occult Archives, and ABSENCE. Fun Fact: there were two Mirror Monster short films created years before the remakes that were deleted and were never seen again!

DER ALLMÄCHTIGE

A short film that follows a character named Sam Bowman and his decline. It originally written as a one-off, but the remake focused on making it part of DDOP. It was also uploaded right after the pandemic started.

SHIMMY

Short film made about Jimmy Shimmy and how he got his start in his most recent iteration.
